Bio: Honorable Tom Garrett

In 2016, Mr. Garrett was elected to represent Virginia’s 5th Congressional District in the United States House of Representatives. While in Congress, Tom served on the Foreign Affairs Committee, Homeland Security Committee and the Education and Workforce Committee.

He currently serves as a member of the House of Delegates in the Commonwealth of Virginia serving the citizens of the 56th District.

Prior to his leadership efforts in the US Congress, Tom Garrett served the 22nd district in the Commonwealth of Virginia’s Senate, Assistant Attorney General for the Commonwealth and a U.S. Army veteran where he was based in the Balkans.

Tom Garrett has dedicated his life to fighting for the oppressed and forgotten not only here in America, but around the world and sharing the untold stories of those who are persecuted based on their faith and ethnicity.
