Join America's Roundtable (https://americasrt.com/) radio co-hosts Natasha Srdoc and Joel Anand Samy with Governor Phil Bryant, the State of Mississippi's 64th governor, former lieutenant governor, state auditor, legislator in the Mississippi House of Representatives and chairman of the Southern States Energy Board. Governor Bryant was just appointed by President Trump vice chairman of the President’s Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Review Council, which is co-chaired by Secretary Kristi Noem of the Department of Homeland Security and Secretary Pete Hegseth of the Department of Defense.
Phil Bryant is a founding member of BSS Global where he provides strategic advice and business development services to some of the world’s largest industry leaders. He serves on the executive advisory board of International Leaders Summit.
America's Roundtable conversation with Governor Bryant brings to the forefront key policies addressed by the Trump administration and Congress including extension of tax cuts through the Big Beautiful Bill, effective immigration policy in blocking illegal immigration, foreign policy of peace through strength, and the most recent data of increased employment. The conversation also addresses concerns of the rise of socialism in America, manifested again with socialist Zohran Mamdani winning the primary election for New York City's Mayor.
Governor Bryant relays a special message to fellow Americans as we celebrate the July 4th, The Independence Day and look forward to the 250th anniversary in 2026.
The timely discussion is focused on President Trump's policies — and their impact on America's citizens, taxpayers, local communities and states.

Magnolia Tribune | Vice President Vance touts ‘Mississippi Miracle,’ calls the education reform “pretty incredible” (https://magnoliatribune.com/2025/04/08/vice-president-vance-touts-mississippi-miracle-calls-the-education-reform-pretty-incredible/)
Brief excerpt from the article:
“This is pretty incredible,” Vice President Vance wrote on X. “Smart education reform drastically improved Mississippi’s schools.”
The reforms began in 2012 under then-Governor Phil Bryant (R), Lt. Governor Tate Reeves (R) and Speaker Philip Gunn (R).
As previously noted by Laurie Todd-Smith in a 2023 Magnolia Tribune column on the making of the “Mississippi Miracle,” only 33 percent of third graders and 32 percent of 8th graders were reading proficiently on state tests that year. She led the governor’s education policy team and is now the Assistant Secretary for Early Childhood Education at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
Bryant presented lawmakers with an education vision titled “Framing Mississippi’s Future” and in 2013, reforms such as the Literacy Based Promotion Act (3rd Grade Reading Gate), the Pre-K Collaborative, the Mississippi Charter School Act, Dyslexia Education Scholarships, and more were passed and signed into law.
Mississippi unites with Israel at Jerusalem Leaders Summit (https://www.jns.org/mississippi-unites-with-israel-at-jerusalem-leaders-summit/)
Jerusalem | Mississippi Gov. Phil Bryant bounded on stage and, in his obvious Southern drawl, greeted the guests of the Jerusalem Leaders Summit, which took place last month at the Inbal hotel.
Bryant was presented with the Distinguished Leadership Award for his efforts to strengthen the Israel-U.S. strategic partnership. He is a strong Israel advocate and his emotions were on full display when he addressed the crowd.
“We have so many friends around the world,” he said, “but none as close, and none that I love more than Israel. I am called to be here. Perhaps sometimes we cannot explain exactly why, but that call, that voice, is stronger than any other that we hear, to come to Israel, to Jerusalem, to do what I can to strengthen this relationship.”
The Third Jerusalem Leaders Summit held from Nov. 18-20, proved a unique event featuring leading voices who articulated principled solutions in addressing the 21st-century’s economic concerns, global threats and security challenges.
The parent organization—the International Leaders Summit, co-founded by Joel Anand Samy and Natasha Srdoc—brought together leaders from America, Britain, continental Europe, India and Israel to its inaugural Jerusalem Leaders Summit event in 2015, affirming the rule of law of civilization, based on shared principles and values.

Join America's Roundtable (https://americasrt.com/) radio co-hosts Natasha Srdoc and Joel Anand Samy with Chief Michael Banks, United States Border Patrol (USBP), Department of Homeland Security and Former Texas Border Czar as the Border Patrol celebrates its 101st anniversary.
Our conversation focuses on America's borders and the efforts of the US Border Patrol in safeguarding the American people from terrorists and their weapons, drug smugglers, and the illegal entry of undocumented aliens. We also focus on sanctuary cities and states and the efforts of USBP and ICE to arrest and deport illegal alien criminals.
The conversation also addresses the threats emanating from dangerous cartel groups smuggling illicit drugs and terrorists. We also delve into reports of the recent increase of interdiction of illicit drugs (including fentanyl), drug proceeds and weapons — as patrol agents are re-directed to focus on their primary responsibility, and instead of dealing with the mass invasion chaos of illegal aliens in the Biden-Harris era, to confronting the evil schemes of the cartels.

Phil Bryant is a founding member of BSS Global where he provides strategic advice and business development services to some of the world’s largest industry leaders. He serves on the executive advisory board of International Leaders Summit.
America's Roundtable conversation with Governor Bryant brings to the forefront key policy issues including trade and tariffs, the urgency to advance tax reform, unleash energy independence and protect America's sovereignty.
The timely discussion is focused on President Trump's policies and executive orders — and what it means for America's citizens, taxpayers, local communities and states.

This weekend on America's Roundtable, co-hosts Natasha Srdoc and Joel Anand Samy will be joined by Chris Mitchell, CBN News Middle East Bureau Chief and author of compelling books including "ISIS, Iran and Israel: What You Need to Know about the Current Mideast Crisis and the Coming Mideast War." (https://www.amazon.com/ISIS-Iran-Israel-Current-Mideast/dp/0986223336)
Chris Mitchell covered the historic decision by President Trump to move the US Embassy to Jerusalem, and saw the opening of Saudi Arabia to the world. In 2011, CBN News began the award-winning program, Jerusalem Dateline, hosted by Chris Mitchell and translated into multiple languages.
Chris Mitchell first began reporting on the Middle East in the mid-1990s. Chris repeatedly traveled there to report on the religious and political issues facing Israel and the surrounding Arab states.
Chris moved to Jerusalem in August 2000 to establish the CBN News Bureau. During the ensuing years, Chris and the staff have been able to cover firsthand how Jerusalem and the Middle East comprise the epicenter for world-shaking events. In 2005, CBN News covered the wrenching Israeli pullout from the Gaza Strip as thousands of Israelis were evicted. The following year, CBN Founder Pat Robertson joined Chris Mitchell and the crew on the front lines of the 2006 second Lebanon war.
When the Arab Spring erupted in 2011, CBN News sped to Tahrir Square in Cairo where thousands gathered to protest the government of Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak.
Through Chris Mitchell's leadership, CBN News covered the rise of ISIS and its reign of terror, from the bombed-out city of Sinjar to the mass grave of Yazidis. The CBN News team saw the ruins of the Islamic State after its demise in the city of Mosul. The television news crew spent time with the Kurdish Peshmerga, the brave men and women spearheading the battle against ISIS and they met face-to-face with persecuted Christians and told the world about the awful rise of Christian persecution throughout the Middle East.
A native of the Boston area, Chris earned a B.A. in History at the University of New Hampshire in 1975. In 1987, he graduated with honors from Regent University, earning an M.A. in Communication.

Join America's Roundtable (https://americasrt.com/) Radio co-hosts Natasha Srdoc and Joel Anand Samy in a conversation with Governor George Allen who served the Commonwealth of Virginia for more than 20 years, as governor, in both bodies of the United States Congress, and as a delegate holding Thomas Jefferson’s seat in the Virginia General Assembly.
As a former United States Senator and member of the House of Representatives, Governor George Allen shares his thoughts and ideas regarding the top priorities that the House Republican leadership ought to consider for the next two years. Governor Allen will also weigh in on the lessons learned from the 2022 midterm elections. The discussion will also highlight the importance of economic competitiveness among US states, and how America's citizens benefit from low taxes, less government regulation and greater economic liberty.
Governor Allen also highlights serious concerns regarding the dangerous politicization of the United States Military, the low morale experienced within the ranks, and the urgency to rebuild the readiness of America's military. The discussion also spotlights the dangers on the U.S. southern border and the increased flow of drugs including fentanyl killing tens of thousands of young people across America.
The conversation also brings to the forefront the Abraham Accords, and its importance for America, Israel and the Middle East.
Brief Bio
George F. Allen served the Commonwealth of Virginia for more than 20 years, as governor, in both bodies of the United States Congress, and as a delegate holding Thomas Jefferson’s seat in the Virginia General Assembly.
Sworn in as governor in 1994, George Allen brought sweeping reform that made Virginia a national model in economic development, public safety, education accountability, and creative government. As a self-described “Common Sense Jeffersonian Conservative,” Allen pushed through cutting edge reform with bipartisan support in a legislature held by the opposition.
Elected to the United States Senate in 2000, George Allen continued to advocate policies to make America and Virginia a leader in innovation and technology. Senator Allen was unanimously elected a member of the Senate Republican Leadership as chairman of the National Republican Senatorial Committee in 2002.

Join America's Roundtable Radio co-hosts Natasha Srdoc and Joel Anand Samy in a conversation with Judge Henry W. Saad, former Chief Judge of the Michigan Court of Appeals. Judge Henry W. Saad currently serves as Special Counsel in Plunkett Cooney's Appellate Law Practice Group.
Judge Saad was nominated to the federal district court by President George H.W. Bush and to the U. S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit Court by President George W. Bush. Judge Saad retired from the appellate court in 2017.
The conversation with Judge Saad is focused on concerns raised by America's engaged citizens regarding the deterioration of the rule of law, the actions of the administrative state, and the fate of individual liberty and private property rights.
The conversation will also look at how America's rule of law impacts U.S. foreign policy, and specifically the current process put in motion which has allowed Iran — a state sponsor of terrorism to pursue its military goals of developing nuclear arms. While the Biden Administration has failed to hold to account a nuclear-armed Russia for invading a sovereign state on the European continent, the question raised is how will the White House cordon a nuclear-armed Iran from attacking sovereign states in the Middle East including Israel and beyond.
The discussion will also highlight the one-year anniversary of the chaotic and disastrous withdrawal of American troops from Afghanistan that saw the Taliban take power by force and 13 American service men and women killed in the withdrawal.
Update: The FBI Raid on Former President Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago Home
According to published reports, "A federal magistrate judge has given the Department of Justice one week to provide a redacted copy of the affidavit used to justify the unprecedented FBI search (https://text.npr.org/2022/08/12/1117151056/fbi-collected-multiple-sets-of-classified-documents-from-trumps-mar-a-lago-home) of former President Trump's Mar-a-Lago residence, saying that he believes the affidavit should be partially released. U.S. Magistrate Judge Bruce Reinhart ruled the DOJ must turn over the redacted version by next Thursday at noon."

Join America's Roundtable co-hosts Natasha Srdoc and Joel Anand Samy for a conversation with Governor Phil Bryant, the State of Mississippi (2012-2020), executive advisory board member, International Leaders Summit and partner at Bryant Songy Snell Global Partners. We focus on the U.S. Constitution, protecting first amendment right to free speech and religious freedom and humanitarian and national security crisis on America's Southern border.
The Department of Homeland Security in a new report stated: The Department of Homeland Security in a new report stated: "There will be 117,000 unaccompanied child migrants crossing the border this year. A large number of them are teenagers. Just last month, some 6,000 migrants aged 16 and 17 were caught." In addition to the concerns about human trafficking, with cartels now charging $5,000 to $10,000 per person to bring illegal immigrants to the US, drug smuggling, and specifically the fentanyl supply coming through the Southern border has increased significantly. Governor Bryant also draws from his early experiences as a law enforcement officer and an undercover officer in America's drug war and communicates about fentanyl which is 50 times more potent than heroin.
Governor Phil Bryant also shares his own experiences from the US-Mexico border during 2019, joining Mississippi's National Guard with Major General Janson D. Boyles, the adjutant general of Mississippi and the United States Customs and Border Protection on a dangerous night mission as illegal immigrants led by "coyotes" from an organized crime network were apprehended. The Customs and Border Protection recently reported: "Laredo Sector Border Patrol has encountered a dangerous trend of weapons being encountered during human smuggling events. Within 24 hours, three weapons were seized in three separate events involving human smuggling."
Governor Phil Bryant served as Mississippi’s 64th governor from 2012 to 2020. Before becoming the state’s chief
executive, the Honorable Phil Bryant was lieutenant governor, state auditor, and represented his legislative district in the Mississippi House of Representatives for five years.
As governor, the Hon. Phil Bryant led Mississippi in implementing transformational public education reforms, promoting economic development, advancing strategic trade missions, and building a competitive business climate that attracted major employers like Amazon, Yokohama Tire Corporation and Continental Tire. According to published reports: “Under Gov. Bryant’s administration, 80,000 jobs were created and some $7 billion in private investment were brought into the state of Mississippi.”
Governor Bryant serves on the executive advisory board of International Leaders Summit, a distinguished guest host of America’s Roundtable and is spearheading initiatives at Bryant Songy Snell Global Partners - where he provides strategic advice and counsel and business development services to some of the world’s largest industry leaders.
