Join America's Roundtable (https://americasrt.com/) radio co-hosts Natasha Srdoc and Joel Anand Samy with the Honorable Thomas Garrett, Jr., member of the Commonwealth of Virginia's House of Delegates and former US Congressman.
Topics Highlighted:
The impact of Virginia's gerrymandering on midterm elections. Currently, Virginia's Congressional balance includes 6 Democrats and 5 Republicans. If Democrats prevail on April 21's special election, the slim House Republican majority may very well collapse in November 2026.
In fact, The Washington Post's Editorial Board (February 6, 2026) expressed serious concerns:
"The self-styled democracy party isn’t behaving democratically. Democrats in Richmond are trying to effectively disenfranchise millions of Virginians by redrawing congressional maps to give themselves 10 of the commonwealth’s 11 House seats — giving Democrats control of 91 percent of House seats in a state where Republicans lost the last presidential election by just six points."
How America's sanctuary cities and states place Americans in danger with soaring crime rates fueled by illegal immigrants.
The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) stated that illegal immigrants were responsible for 75% of murders in Fairfax County so far in 2026.
US - Israel strikes in Iran and the future of the Middle East and beyond.
Red states versus blue states: Jobs, education, security and economic growth.
Brief bio:
When in Congress, Tom Garrett would be known to state: “I represent the fifth Congressional District of Virginia where the first representative elected to serving Congress was a man named James Madison who drafted the Constitution of the United States and where our third president Thomas Jefferson lived when he drafted the following words. We hold these truths to be self-evident that all men are created equal and endowed by their creator with certain inalienable rights and that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.”
Tom Garrett serves in the Virginia House of Delegates representing the great people of the 56th District. Delegate Tom Garrett earned his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Richmond. After the University of Richmond, Tom Garrett became an artillery officer in the United States Army. Achieving the rank of Captain, Tom led soldiers overseas—most notably while deployed in Bosnia.
Upon returning to the States, Tom earned his J.D. from the University of Richmond and quickly became an Assistant Attorney General for Virginia.
In 2016, Tom was elected to represent Virginia’s 5th Congressional District in the United States House of Representatives. While in Congress, Tom served on the Foreign Affairs Committee, Homeland Security Committee, Education and Workforce Committee. An expert on Iran and the Middle East, Tom Garrett's analysis and insights are enlightening as America's foreign policy and national security concerns are focused on a strategic region adversely impacted by Iran, a state sponsor of terrorism.

Join America's Roundtable (https://americasrt.com/) radio co-hosts Natasha Srdoc and Joel Anand Samy with the Honorable Thomas Garrett, Jr., member of the Commonwealth of Virginia's House of Delegates and former US Congressman.
The conversation will focus on the state of America's economy, Trump's economic reforms, US-Iran Talks, America's ties with Israel, Virginia's radical changes with major tax hikes and sweeping gun control legislation and a new redistricting initiative which may leave Virginia's Congressional delegation with a 10-1 in favor of Democrats rather than the current 6-5 Republican edge. This could pose challenges in the mid-term elections.a leading attorney, currently serving as a legislator in the Commonwealth of Virginia, former Assistant Attorney General and former U.S. Congressman.
The Washington Post's Editorial Board:
"Brass-knuckled hypocrisy in Virginia"
Quote:
_The self-styled democracy party isn’t behaving democratically. Democrats in Richmond are trying to effectively disenfranchise millions of Virginians by redrawing congressional maps to give themselves 10 of the commonwealth’s 11 House seats — giving Democrats control of 91 percent of House seats in a state where Republicans lost the last presidential election by just six points.
Most know better, including the governor. Abigail Spanberger was among the two-thirds of Virginians who voted in 2020 to transfer once-a-decade redistricting from the legislature to a bipartisan commission. “Gerrymandering is detrimental to our democracy,” she said back then. On Friday, Spanberger signed a bill to schedule an April 21 referendum that would move it back. The governor said it was necessary “to let voters respond to extreme measures taken by other states.”_

Bio | Tom Garrett

Virginia Delegate Tom Garrett earned his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Richmond.

Tom won that election with the most votes ever in the 5th Congressional District. While in Congress, Tom served on the Foreign Affairs Committee, Homeland Security Committee, Education and Workforce Committee and was a member of the Freedom Caucus. An expert on Iran and the Middle East, Tom Garrett's analysis and insights are enlightening as America's foreign policy and national security concerns are focused on a strategic region adversely impacted by Iran, a state sponsor of terrorism.

In the years since, Tom Garrett has dedicated his life to fighting for the oppressed and forgotten not only here in America, but around the world.
Join America's Roundtable co-hosts Natasha Srdoc and Joel Anand Samy for an in-depth conversation with the Honorable Scott Taylor, former U.S. Congressman and U.S. Navy SEAL, focusing on the 20th anniversary of September 11, the collapse of Afghanistan and his direct engagement in the region over the past few weeks through private sector initiatives in rescuing our fellow-Americans and Afghan allies amid the chaotic U.S. withdrawal.
Honorable Scott Taylor's clear insights will certainly inform and illuminate listening audiences on what transpired in real time within Afghanistan and the missteps that left many behind.
Please find below videos that provide an update on the urgent efforts to save nearly 200 Afghan girls who were right at the Kabul airport gate, however, refused entry onto the tarmac to board a plane. Former Congressman Taylor is committed to saving these Afghan children now placed in a safe house.

We will also discuss the concerns of an emboldened Iran with the International Atomic Energy Agency's most recent alarming report on the country concealing its nuclear program, and the one-year anniversary of the Abraham Accords signed on the White House lawn on September 15, 2020, an endeavor led by President Donald J. Trump hosting the foreign ministers from the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain along with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu — joining in this historic endeavor to normalize relations between Israel and the two countries.

Join America's Roundtable co-hosts Natasha Srdoc and Joel Anand Samy for an in-depth conversation with Governor Bryant. This radio segment focuses on the collapse of Afghanistan, the return of global jihad, and the future of America's security and its impact on American citizens. The conversation brings to the forefront the Biden administration's botched Afghan withdrawal and NATO allies expressing public frustration due to being kept in the dark on the pull-out.
Governor Bryant speaks about his journey to Southwest Asia visiting Afghanistan and meeting with the Mississippi National Guard in the troubled region, as well as meeting with America's ally in Central Asia — the leadership of Uzbekistan's government and the recent meeting in Washington, DC, with its senior diplomat.

Air Force report: "Uzbekistan a Candidate for U.S. ‘Over-the-Horizon’ Support to Afghanistan (https://www.airforcemag.com/uzbekistan-candidate-for-us-over-the-horizon-support-afghanistan/)"
Central Asian News: "Uzbek soldiers win training awards in US (https://central.asia-news.com/en_GB/articles/cnmi_ca/features/2020/01/03/feature-02)"
In January 2019, Uzbek special forces participated in exercises conducted by the Mississippi National Guard (https://central.asia-news.com/en_GB/articles/cnmi_ca/features/2019/02/05/feature-01). The exercises were called "historic" because they marked the first-ever training of Uzbek soldiers in the United States.
Governor Phil Bryant served as Mississippi’s 64th governor from 2012 to 2020. Before becoming the state’s chief executive, the Honorable Phil Bryant was lieutenant governor, state auditor, and represented his legislative district in the Mississippi House of Representatives for five years. Governor Bryant also draws from his early experiences as a law enforcement officer and an undercover officer in America's drug war.
As governor, the Hon. Phil Bryant led Mississippi in implementing transformational public education reforms, promoting economic development, advancing strategic trade missions, and building a competitive business climate that attracted major employers like Amazon, Yokohama Tire Corporation and Continental Tire. According to published reports: “Under Gov. Bryant’s administration, 80,000 jobs were created and some $7 billion in private investment were brought into the state of Mississippi.”

Join America's Roundtable co-hosts Natasha Srdoc and Joel Anand Samy for a timely conversation with Governor Phil Bryant, the State of Mississippi (2012-2020), executive advisory board member of the International Leaders Summit and founding partner at Bryant Songy Snell Global Partners. The dicussion focuses on the 77th anniversary of D-Day, June 6, 1944, and reflecting on that historic day when 160,000 Allied troops stormed the beaches of Normandy, a 50-mile stretch of heavily-fortified French coastline with a goal to liberate Europe from Nazi Germany and hasten the end of World War II.
According to published reports, 73,000 soldiers were from the United States and an estimated 6,603 Americans were killed, wounded, or missing in action on D-Day.
Governor Bryant shares about his visit to The Normandy American Cemetery and Memorial, a World War II cemetery and memorial in Colleville-sur-Mer, Normandy, France, and relays the significance of ensuring that our fellow-Americans understand the significance of the sacrifices made on June 6, 1944, to advance the just cause in defeating tyranny, liberating Europe and preserving our freedoms.
