Join America's Roundtable (https://americasrt.com/) radio co-hosts Natasha Srdoc and Joel Anand Samy with Vladimir Jaffe, an American entrepreneur and a proponent of freedom and capitalism based on the rule of law. Vladimir Jaffe is owner of Palace Imports and a board member of Israel Justice Organization.
Vladimir Jaffe is a former Soviet citizen with a master’s degree in chemical engineering. In the USSR, he was active in Jewish circles, dissident movements, and international media—at significant personal risk—and was interrogated at KGB headquarters in 1985. He emigrated to the United States in 1988 at the age of 29 and is now a successful American entrepreneur.
Over the years, a new generation of Americans are favoring socialism with an awe of communism over capitalism.
According to a published report:
A recent Cato/YouGov survey conducted in March asked 2,000 American adults a range of questions about U.S. fiscal policy. The survey found that 62 percent of adults under age 30 expressed a favorable view of socialism, while just 38 percent held an unfavorable view.
When asked, “Do you have a favorable or unfavorable view of Communism?”, 34 percent of respondents aged 18–29 answered “favorable,” with 66 percent answering “unfavorable.” Only 14 percent of total respondents held a favorable view of communism.
Vladimir Jaffe is the owner of Palace Imports, a company specializing in solid wood furniture sourced from Africa, Europe, South America, and Mexico, sold online through retailers such as Macy’s, Wayfair, Walmart, Bed Bath & Beyond and Overstock and others. Since becoming a U.S. citizen in 1993, Vladimir has remained politically active and is deeply involved in supporting Jewish organizations and initiatives.
He is a board member of the Israel Justice Organization and a dedicated supporter of America’s conservative movement and the vision articulated by President Donald Trump in advancing freedom and reforms based on the rule of law.

Join America's Roundtable (https://americasrt.com/) radio co-hosts Natasha Srdoc and Joel Anand Samy with the Honorable Peter Hoekstra, former US Ambassador to the Netherlands (2018-2021) and US Congressman.
Ambassador Hoekstra served in the US Congress (1993-2011) and was chairman of the House Intelligence Committee. He was a member of the Gang of Eight from 2004 until 2011 receiving the most highly classified information available in the U.S. government. He is currently the chairman of the Michigan Republican Party.
Our discussion on America's Roundtable with Ambassador Hoekstra covers:
Illegal immigration destroying America's cities. Return to the managed immigration based on the rule of law that made the United States - a country of immigrants, entering the country legally to pursue the American Dream.
The American economy | Discrepancy in the US unemployment figures by 818,000 individuals -The Federal Reserve Bank's first rate cut in 4 years - recession or soft landing? | Jerome Powell: “There's been quite an influx across the borders, and that is actually one of the things that's allowed the unemployment rate to rise."
Upholding the free speech, combating lies and rejecting censorship.

Join America's Roundtable (https://americasrt.com/) radio co-hosts Natasha Srdoc and Joel Anand Samy with Eric Trump, executive vice president of the Trump Organization and president of the Trump Winery in Charlottesville, Virginia, for an exclusive interview on the future of public policy in America.
The conversation with Eric Trump focuses on the state of America's economy and Kamala Harris's proposed tax hike by increasing business taxes from 21% to 28% which will adversely affect workers and small business owners. Harris is also pushing price controls which is a throwback to the days of a Soviet-style "command and control structure," and policies that destroyed economies in communist Eastern Europe, modern-day Venezuela and Zimbabwe.
The open border policy which has made every state a "border state" will be brought to the forefront with an internal crisis within the US of some 13 million coming into the nation illegally and now depending on taxpayer paid services.
The wars in Europe and the Middle East, with allies such as Israel being attacked by state sponsor Iran and its proxies Hamas, Hezbollah and Houthis will be addressed as well. The policy of peace through once implemented through the Reagan and Trump administrations have been replaced by a concerted effort to appease America's adversaries including China, Iran and Russia.

WSJ Editorial Board (https://www.wsj.com/opinion/kamala-harris-corporate-tax-increase-business-wages-2024-election-746ee509)
The Harris Plan to Lower Your Wages
The Vice President wants to raise the corporate tax rate from 21% to 28%, which will ultimately be paid by workers.
"_The Democratic team that brought you declining real wages is now threatening to lower your pay again. That’s the practical effect of Kamala Harris’s idea to raise the U.S. corporate tax rate to 28%, and it’s instructive that an anti-growth tax increase is one of the Vice President’s few distinctive policy priorities so far. Ms. Harris’s endorsement Monday of a 28% rate, up from the current 21%, signs onto what President Biden has been proposing.
_U.S. companies during the Obama Administration often moved their headquarters to lower tax climes such as Ireland to avoid the high U.S. tax rate that made them less globally competitive. The Business Roundtable estimates that some $2.5 trillion in income earned abroad returned to the U.S. as a result of Mr. Trump’s 2017 reform. _
Ms. Harris pitches her 28% rate as merely punishing big companies, but economists of all stripes agree that U.S. workers pay for higher corporate taxes in lower wages. The corporate rate cut contributed to the strong pre-Covid U.S. economy in 2018 and 2019 with growing wages that many voters say they miss.
_The current U.S. corporate rate is above 25% when state corporate taxes are included, and the Harris increase would again make the U.S. a world outlier at above 30%. The OECD statutory average is a little north of 23%, and the European Union’s is lower at roughly 21%, according to the Tax Foundation. The average in Asia? About 19%. _
The next President will put his or her mark on America’s global competitiveness when many of the 2017 tax cuts expire in 2025, and on this score voters are getting a clear choice. Mr. Trump has suggested lowering the corporate rate to 15%. He can make this part of a larger theme of faster growth and rising incomes if he explains to voters what Ms. Harris’s tax increase means for average workers._"

Join America's Roundtable (https://americasrt.com/) radio co-hosts Natasha Srdoc and Joel Anand Samy with Rabbi Eliot H. Pearlson who serves at the Temple Menorah in Miami Beach, Florida.
America's Roundtable conversation with Rabbi Eliot Pearlson includes the following key topics:
Is “American exceptionalism” fading?
The agenda to re-write America’s unique role in advancing freedom and the rule of law.
Socialism in Latin America and lessons for America’s citizens.
How October 7, 2023 changed Israel. The call to free Americans and Israeli hostages still held captive in Gaza. The significance of remembrance.
The future of the Abraham Accords.
Is Biden’s new executive order targeting Israeli citizens and politicians ⏤ a departure of US support for the Jewish state?
Brief biography | Rabbit Eliot H. Pearlson
In 1989, Rabbi Eliot H. Pearlson succeeded Rabbi Meyer Abramowitz ז”ל, who had served Temple Menorah since its founding in 1949. Rabbi Pearlson was no stranger to Temple Menorah, having served as our Director of Education before leaving for a pulpit in Asheville, North Carolina.
Born in upstate New York, he is the youngest of eight children. His parents, Sylvia and Ben ז”ל were farmers near Buffalo until moving to Miami Beach in 1963, where they entered the Hotel and Hospitality industry.
Within months of assuming his duties, Rabbi Pearlson followed in the footsteps of his predecessor, affirming the well-deserved notoriety of Temple Menorah by opening the institution to hundreds of Russian Jews escaping from the Soviet Union. Along with the survivors of the Holocaust and the refugees of Castro’s Cuba, another generation of Jewish refugees were guaranteed a spiritual home and place to worship.
Education
Rabbi Pearlson’s Jewish education is varied and diverse. Although serving in a Traditional synagogue, Rabbi Pearlson has studied in “Litvishe” Yeshiva programs such as the Greater Miami Mesifta, The Talmudic University , Lubavitch Yeshiva-Tomchei Tmimim, and Yeshiva University. In addition to his religious studies, Rabbi Pearlson has undergraduate degrees in Jewish Studies and Biochemistry, a Masters Degree in Rabbinic Literature, and graduate studies in Microbiology at the University of Florida. He was granted his Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.) degree in Community Leadership by The Florida Center for Theological Studies in 2010. Rabbi Pearlson received Orthodox Rabbinic Ordination at the Diaspora Yeshiva on Mt. Zion-Jerusalem.
Community
Among Rabbi Pearlson’s community outreach efforts has been the ‘adoption’ of an African American Church. ln addition to a pulpit exchange with its minister, Temple Menorah also sponsored its Afternoon Computer Lab for Children at Risk. As a Jewish activist, Rabbi Pearlson has been arrested defending Jewish causes in Auschwitz-Birkenau, New York City and Miami—as his supporters note: “Arrested, but never convicted.”

Is America Exceptional? By Norman Podhoretz | Author, My Love Affair with America (https://imprimis.hillsdale.edu/is-america-exceptional/)
Brief excerpt: "We have excelled by following our Founding Fathers in directing our energies, as our Constitution exhorts us to do, to the preservation of the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, as well as to the pursuit of happiness tacitly understood by the Declaration of Independence to require prosperity as a precondition. (In his original draft of the Declaration, of course, Jefferson used the word “property” instead of “pursuit of happiness.”) By remaining faithful in principle—and to a considerable extent in practice—to the ideas by which the Founders hoped to accomplish these ends, we and our forebears have fashioned a country in which more liberty and more prosperity are more widely shared than among any other people in human history. Yes, even today that holds true, despite policies unfaithful both to the letter and to the spirit of the traditional American system that have resulted in a series of political and economic setbacks."

With individual initiative discouraged, US could identify as mediocre, insist scholars
"We're running on fumes," said Victor Davis Hanson, a senior fellow at the Hoover Institution, when asked if American exceptionalism still exists. "We still have more talent and wealth than any other nation. We're still the freest nation.

Join America's Roundtable (https://americasrt.com/) Radio co-hosts Natasha Srdoc and Joel Anand Samy in a conversation with Peter M. Robinson, Murdoch Distinguished Policy Fellow at the Hoover Institution, Host of Uncommon Knowledge (https://www.hoover.org/publications/uncommon-knowledge)™ — Hoover's Video Series Program and Former Special Assistant and Speechwriter to President Ronald Reagan.
Peter Robinson is the Murdoch Distinguished Policy Fellow at the Hoover Institution, where he writes about business and politics, edits Hoover's quarterly journal, the Hoover Digest (https://www.hoover.org/publications/hoover-digest), and hosts Hoover's video series program, Uncommon Knowledge (https://www.hoover.org/publications/uncommon-knowledge)™.
Robinson spent six years in the White House, serving from 1982 to 1983 as chief speechwriter to Vice President George Bush and from 1983 to 1988 as special assistant and speechwriter to President Ronald Reagan. He wrote the historic Berlin Wall address in which President Reagan called on General Secretary Mikhail Gorbachev to "tear down this wall!"
The conversation will begin by focusing on the 33rd anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall. On November 9, 1989, five days after a major peaceful protest in East Berlin which gathered half a million people, the communist rulers gave permission for gates along the Berlin Wall to be opened. The fall of Communist Eastern Europe was hastened by the principled leadership of President Ronald Reagan joined by then-UK Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, Pope John Paul II, Germany's Helmut Kohl, Vaclav Havel, leaders within Poland, and other countries in the Soviet block yearning for freedom.
The historic day reminded the world of a speech that was delivered on June 12, 1987 by President Ronald Reagan when he shared these words (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WX00QkvK-mQ&feature=youtu.be):
"_Behind me stands a wall that encircles the free sectors of this city, part of a vast system of barriers that divides the entire continent of Europe. . . . Standing before the Brandenburg Gate, every man is a German, separated from his fellow men. Every man is a Berliner, forced to look upon a scar. . . . As long as this gate is closed, as long as this scar of a wall is permitted to stand, it is not the German question alone that remains open, but the question of freedom for all mankind. . . .
General Secretary Gorbachev, if you seek peace, if you seek prosperity for the Soviet Union and Eastern Europe, if you seek liberalization, come here to this gate.
Mr. Gorbachev, open this gate!
Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall!_"
—Ronald Reagan, address at the Brandenburg Gate, June 12, 1987

Join Natasha Srdoc and Joel Anand Samy, co-hosts of America's Roundtable for a conversation with Peggy Grande, executive assistant to President Ronald Reagan (1989-1999) and author of "The President Will See You Now". Grande, who started in the Office of Ronald Reagan as a college student and earned her way into a coveted role as the president’s Executive Assistant, offers an unparalleled perspective on the post-presidency of a political icon.
We discuss President Ronald Reagan's charachter, the significance of faith in his life and his principled leadership in addressing domestic and foreign policy issues. The conversation also highlights President Ronald Reagan's major legacies in hastening the fall of the Berlin Wall and the special friendship and relationship with Margaret Thatcher and the United Kingdom, respectively.
About the Book: https://peggygrande.com/book/
In The President Will See You Now, devoted Reagan insider Peggy Grande shares behind-the-scenes stories, intimate moments, and powerful insights into one of America’s most beloved presidents. Grande, who started in the Office of Ronald Reagan as a college student and earned her way into a coveted role as the president’s Executive Assistant, offers an unparalleled perspective on the post-presidency of a political icon.
Grande’s stories and never-before-seen photos show a unique, private side to a public figure and leader who reshaped conservatism, ushered in an era of prosperity, and helped spur the end of the Cold War. Grande reveals what day-to-day life was like in Reagan’s California office, including the former president’s relationship with the First Lady and his interactions with friends, world leaders, and everyday Americans.
Grande recounts Reagan’s vigorous schedule for years after he left the White House, his robust engagement with others, and ongoing political advocacy. Despite his eventual Alzheimer’s diagnosis, Grande shows how Ronald Reagan remained true to his core beliefs, his gentlemanly kindness, and his undying hope for his country.
Today the Reagan legacy looms over American politics more than ever. Grande reminds readers why: When Ronald Reagan was president, we not only loved ourselves but also loved America, and the American values he represented: faith, optimism, and patriotism.
