Join America's Roundtable (https://americasrt.com/) radio co-hosts Natasha Srdoc and Joel Anand Samy with Congressman Randy Fine, member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee and the House Committee on Education and the Workforce.
Since coming to Washington, DC in April 2025, Congressman Randy Fine has risen to become one of the most highly effective communicators on Capitol Hill, clearly articulating the importance of implementing principled reforms and boldly addressing challenges and opportunities we face in America today. His messages remind us of President Ronald Reagan's smart responses, explaining in a simple language what we are facing as Americans, and presenting the unvarnished truth.
Key topics:
The U.S. economy, reforms, housing costs and illegal immigration.
Venezuela | Maduro captured and the future of Latin America.
Iran protests and the Tehran regime's brutal response. According to recent published reports as of January 12, 2026, over 500 protesters have been killed and more than 10,000 protesters have been arrested.
NYC Mayor Mamdani IHRA revocation - scraps the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance’s definition of anti-Semitism and lifts restrictions on boycotting Israel. Rabbis express serious concerns regarding the safety of Jews in NYC.
Developments in the Gaza Strip, Judea and Samaria also known as the West Bank, and the peace in the Middle East.
Congressman Fine proposed a bill in December 2025, “No Welfare for Noncitizens” Act, which would prohibit all non-citizens from receiving federal public benefits. The federal government is projected to spend $177 billion dollars on welfare for noncitizens between 2024 and 2034, while current debt is $38 trillion dollars.
Bio:
Randy Fine was elected to represent Florida’s 6th Congressional District in April of 2025 and serves on the House Foreign Affairs and the Education and Workforce Committee.
A third-generation Floridian, Randy built a career as a successful entrepreneur, founding and running businesses in retail, technology, and hospitality.
Randy’s retirement didn’t last long. In 2016, he was elected to the Florida House, where he served the maximum eight years before moving on to the Florida Senate and then Congress. During his time in Tallahassee, he chaired five committees, passed more than forty bills, and became known as a strong advocate for school choice, tough immigration enforcement, and protecting children from harmful ideologies.
As the only Jewish Republican in the Florida Legislature, Randy led the fight to make Florida the safest state in America for Jewish families and people of faith. His colleagues and national Jewish organizations honored him with the nickname “The Hebrew Hammer” for his work opposing terrorism and combatting antisemitism.
The son of two public school teachers, Randy graduated magna cum laude from Harvard College with a degree in government and later earned his MBA from Harvard Business School, where he graduated with high distinction as one of the youngest Baker Scholars in decades.

Join America's Roundtable (https://americasrt.com/) radio co-hosts Natasha Srdoc and Joel Anand Samy with U.S. Congressman Randy Fine.
At 40, he retired from the private sector to focus on raising his two sons, Jacob and David, with his wife, Wendy. Randy’s retirement didn’t last long.
In 2016, he was elected to the Florida House - before moving on to the Florida Senate and then Congress. As the only Jewish Republican in the Florida Legislature, Randy led the fight to make Florida the safest state in America for Jewish families and people of faith. Randy graduated magna cum laude from Harvard College with a degree in government and later earned his MBA from Harvard Business School.
Topics:
1) Update on the U.S. economy, inflation, grocery prices and cost of gas.
The inflation rate under President Biden's administration was 9.1% (year-over-year, as measured by the Consumer Price Index), which occurred in June 2022. This was the highest rate in approximately 40 years. Through President Trump's leadership on the economic front, the high inflation rate has dropped to 3%. The record high inflation under the Biden-Harris administration pushed up grocery prices to an all-time high. Congressman Fine addresses the concerns of the high cost of living with a clear explanation.
Gas prices under the Biden administration surged to a high of $5.016 per gallon for regular unleaded, recorded on June 14, 2022. Today, gas prices have dropped to a national average of $2.93, with the average gas price in Mississippi dropping to around $2.57 per gallon of regular unleaded.
Today, Democrats are running elections on "affordability" while facts clearly reveal that they created the economic crisis in the first place. It was the Biden administration's policies voted by Democratic Party members of Congress which have hurt American families and the US economy. The conversation focuses on how decent hard-working Americans will benefit from the tax cuts including no tax on tips, no tax on overtime and the removal of taxes on social security impacting retirees.
2) The rise of anti-Semitism in America with a focus on polling showing that anti-Israel sentiment is rising on the Republican side, especially among young voters.
3) President Trump's efforts to curtail the flow of drugs from Venezuela by targeting boats transporting cocaine to America. In the US, around 42 million people had used cocaine at some point in their lifetime as of 2024. An estimated 22,174 people died from a cocaine-involved overdose in 2024.
4) Bringing to the forefront how NATO member Croatia sold illicit Iranian oil stored in Croatian government facilities. The illegal scheme (operating between 2022 and 2024) where nearly one million barrels of sanctioned Iranian oil were allegedly stored in a Croatian facility before being sold as Malaysian oil to evade U.S. sanctions.
Report: "A civil forfeiture complaint was filed early this year in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia alleging that $47 million in proceeds from the sale of nearly one million barrels of Iranian petroleum is forfeitable as property of, or affording a person a source of influence over, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) or its Qods Force (IRGC-QF), designated Foreign Terrorist Organizations (FTOs).
5) The China threat.
6) Focusing on Congressman Randy Fine's effort in co-sponsoring the bill The Veterans’ Assuring Critical Care Expansions to Support Service members (ACCESS) Act of 2025 with Chairman Mike Bost, House Veterans Affairs Committee, a Marine veteran.

Join America's Roundtable (https://americasrt.com/) radio co-hosts Natasha Srdoc and Joel Anand Samy with Attorney General Jason Miyares, Commonwealth of Virginia.
The conversation on America's Roundtable focuses on AG Jason Miyares's leadership in fighting opioids, reducing overdose deaths and reducing violence, thus making communities in Virginia safer. The data released by Virginia Department of Health Office of the Chief Medical Examiner show fentanyl-related overdose deaths in Virginia declined 44 percent year-over-year and are down over 46 percent from its peak in 2021. Virginia led the nation in annual percentage declines in drug overdose deaths in 2024.
The recent celebration of America's Independence Day on July 4th 2025, reminds us of America Founding Fathers' ingenuity in creating America's Founding Documents: The Declaration of Independence, U.S. Constitution and the Bill of Rights. Virginia played a historic role in the founding of the American Republic - 249 years ago. America's Founding Fathers George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, James Madison, George Mason, James Monroe, Patrick Henry and John Marshall were all Virginians.
The timely discussion elevates the importance of combating anti-Semitism, and advancing principled policies based on the rule of law as well as affirming the significance of peace through strength.
Bio | Jason S. Miyares (https://jasonmiyares.com/about/)
Attorney General Jason Miyares' story doesn't start in Virginia Beach, Virginia, but in Havana, Cuba when his mother, Miriam Miyares, fled communist Cuba, penniless and homeless. She taught Jason a love for freedom, democracy, and that America is indeed the “last best hope on earth.” A product of Virginia public schools, Jason graduated with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from James Madison University and received his J.D. from the College of William and Mary School of Law.
He previously served as a prosecutor in the Virginia Beach Commonwealth’s Attorney Office, where he worked alongside law enforcement to keep violent criminals off our streets and our communities safe.
In 2015, almost fifty years to the day that she fled Cuba, Miriam was able to vote for her son Jason Miyares to represent her in the oldest democracy in the Western Hemisphere, the Virginia House of Delegates. While representing Virginia Beach, Jason was recognized as “Legislator of the Year” in both 2018 and 2019 from the College Affordability and Public Trust for his work on transparency and affordability in higher education, as well as by the Hampton Roads Military Officers Association of America in 2018. He was also recognized in 2019 by the Safe House Project for his work combatting human trafficking, an issue that his administration is prioritizing.
Jason Miyares is the first Cuban American elected to the General Assembly, the first Hispanic elected statewide in Virginia, and the first son of an immigrant ever elected to be Attorney General. He is passionate about preserving the American Miracle for the next generation of Virginians.

Join America's Roundtable (https://americasrt.com/) radio co-hosts Natasha Srdoc and Joel Anand Samy with Attorney General Jason Miyares, Commonwealth of Virginia. The conversation focuses on his recent visit to the US southern border and the high level briefing received by officials regarding increased security risks. Moreover, recent reports from Latin American governments have raised the alarms of terrorists coming to the region.
Transnational organized crime networks have taken advantage of America's porous borders and smuggled dangerous drugs into our nation. According to DEA, "Mexico and China are the primary source countries for fentanyl and fentanyl-related substances trafficked directly into the United States."
Fentanyl has taken the lives of 74,702 Americans in 2023 alone.
A published report stated:
Panamanian authorities have reported that members of Hezbollah, one of the most influential paramilitary groups in the Middle East, have been detected crossing the Darién jungle. Authorities also noted that these individuals are linked to groups involved in migrant smuggling. Costa Rica’s Minister of Security, Mario Zamora, explained that the recent rise in migration has heightened alerts for individuals connected to terrorism. Other cases of individuals with links to terrorism, however, have been recorded. “Costa Rica has detained three individuals with international terrorism alerts: two Somalis linked to a little-known group and an Egyptian connected to Al Qaeda. Currently, we have a person from Kazakhstan, linked to ISIS, in custody. This migratory flow has brought individuals with a history of terrorism,” Zamora stated.
The conversation on America's Roundtable also focuses on AG Jason Miyares's journey to Israel after the October 7, 2024 terrorist attacks and the plight of Jewish American students on US campuses. AG Miyares raised concerns about American hostages still held captive in Gaza and reflected on the murder of six hostages including Hersh Goldberg-Polin, who grew up in Richmond, Virginia.
The timely discussion elevates the importance of advancing principled policies based on the rule of law and affirming the significance of peace through strength.

Join America's Roundtable (https://americasrt.com/) Radio co-hosts Natasha Srdoc and Joel Anand Samy with Attorney General Jason S. Miyares from the Commonwealth of Virginia.
Our conversation focuses on the following topics:
— Attorney General Jason Miyares discusses the creation of Virginia's Antisemitism Task Force and efforts to counter the rise of attacks targeting the Jewish community in America.
— The 25-state lawsuit on new Department of Labor rule allowing asset managers to direct their clients’ retirement money to ESG (Environmental Social Governance) investments.
— Attorney General Jason Miyares' efforts in leading a coalition of 21 states calling on President Biden and Secretary of State Antony Blinken to designate drug cartels as Foreign Terrorist Organizations (FTOs) under federal law. We learn how this initiative will free up resources to confront the deadly opioid crisis with the seriousness it deserves.
— American exceptionalism and the principled messages from President Ronald Reagan and Abraham Lincoln.
Bio | Jason S. Miyares

From the Attorney General's office, "Operation Ceasefire is a proven approach to address violent criminal activity among serious and repeat offenders, which was extremely successful in Richmond from 2004-2008. This initiative works to reduce violent crime by maintaining strategic and effective partnerships through the Commonwealth by promoting firearm safety, investing in gang prevention, and supporting community policing in high-crime neighborhoods in order to get the most violent and repeat offenders off our streets."
Bio: Attorney General Jason S. Miyares (https://oag.state.va.us/our-office/about-the-attorney-general)
