Join America's Roundtable (https://americasrt.com/) radio co-hosts Natasha Srdoc and Joel Anand Samy with Vani Hari, food activist and a MAHA Leader working with HHS Secretary Robert Kennedy, Jr. The conversation highlights Vani Hari's important work as a MAHA leader in the efforts to create clean food ingredients and remove artificial foods dyes harming Americans, and especially children.
On the eve of the first 100 days of President Donald Trump’s second administration, Natasha Srdoc and Joel Anand Samy, co-hosts of America's Roundtable were invited by The White House Media Affairs Team for an exclusive Madia Row event in Washington, D.C.
Also known as the "Food Babe," Vani Hari has spent over a decade sounding the alarm on the concerns of deceptive practices which are occurring in the food industry.
According to the White House, some 30 million estimated number of American children were adversely affected with health conditions in 2022 and 3.4 million children are on ADHD medication.
Further details from Vani Hari:
✔️ 1 in every 13 children have food allergies in the U.S. - which is about 2 children per classroom.
✔️ Food allergies in children increased approximately 50% between 1997 and 2011.
✔️ Every 3 minutes, a food allergy reaction sends someone to the emergency room.
✔️ New cancer cases in the U.S. increased by 36.3% between 2000 and 2021.
According to critics of large food companies, there is an interesting correlation between the changes brought to the kitchen table and throughout fast food locations and restaurants with certain food ingredients (which are banned in Europe and other places around the world) and the cost of healthcare in America.
The Peterson Center on Healthcare established by the Peter G. Peterson Foundation states: "Health spending totaled $74.1 billion in 1970. By 2000, health expenditures had reached about $1.4 trillion, and in 2023 the amount spent on health more than tripled to $4.9 trillion."

Join America's Roundtable (https://americasrt.com/) radio co-hosts Natasha Srdoc and Joel Anand Samy with Governor Phil Bryant, the State of Mississippi's 64th governor, former lieutenant governor, state auditor, legislator in the Mississippi House of Representatives and chairman of the Southern States Energy Board.
Phil Bryant is a founding member of BSS Global where he provides strategic advice and business development services to some of the world’s largest industry leaders. He serves on the executive advisory board of International Leaders Summit.
America's Roundtable conversation with Governor Bryant brings to the forefront key policy issues including trade and tariffs, the urgency to advance tax reform, unleash energy independence and protect America's sovereignty.
The timely discussion is focused on President Trump's policies and executive orders — and what it means for America's citizens, taxpayers, local communities and states.

Brief excerpt from the article:
“This is pretty incredible,” Vice President Vance wrote on X. “Smart education reform drastically improved Mississippi’s schools.”
The reforms began in 2012 under then-Governor Phil Bryant (R), Lt. Governor Tate Reeves (R) and Speaker Philip Gunn (R).
As previously noted by Laurie Todd-Smith in a 2023 Magnolia Tribune column on the making of the “Mississippi Miracle,” only 33 percent of third graders and 32 percent of 8th graders were reading proficiently on state tests that year. She led the governor’s education policy team and is now the Assistant Secretary for Early Childhood Education at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
Bryant presented lawmakers with an education vision titled “Framing Mississippi’s Future” and in 2013, reforms such as the Literacy Based Promotion Act (3rd Grade Reading Gate), the Pre-K Collaborative, the Mississippi Charter School Act, Dyslexia Education Scholarships, and more were passed and signed into law.
Mississippi unites with Israel at Jerusalem Leaders Summit (https://www.jns.org/mississippi-unites-with-israel-at-jerusalem-leaders-summit/)
Jerusalem | Mississippi Gov. Phil Bryant bounded on stage and, in his obvious Southern drawl, greeted the guests of the Jerusalem Leaders Summit, which took place last month at the Inbal hotel.
Bryant was presented with the Distinguished Leadership Award for his efforts to strengthen the Israel-U.S. strategic partnership. He is a strong Israel advocate and his emotions were on full display when he addressed the crowd.
“We have so many friends around the world,” he said, “but none as close, and none that I love more than Israel. I am called to be here. Perhaps sometimes we cannot explain exactly why, but that call, that voice, is stronger than any other that we hear, to come to Israel, to Jerusalem, to do what I can to strengthen this relationship.”
The Third Jerusalem Leaders Summit held from Nov. 18-20, proved a unique event featuring leading voices who articulated principled solutions in addressing the 21st-century’s economic concerns, global threats and security challenges.
The parent organization—the International Leaders Summit, co-founded by Joel Anand Samy and Natasha Srdoc—brought together leaders from America, Britain, continental Europe, India and Israel to its inaugural Jerusalem Leaders Summit event in 2015, affirming the rule of law of civilization, based on shared principles and values.

America's Roundtable, co-hosts Natasha Srdoc and Joel Anand Samy are joined by Virginia Walden Ford, a pioneer of America's school choice movement and a patriotic leader transforming our nation's educational system. Few leaders in our time have risked so much to boldly stand for principles and counter the wave of strong opposition brought forth by politicians in our nation's capital, lobbyists and the powerful teacher unions.
Virginia Walden Ford's inspiring journey and her principled leadership is paving the way for new states to embrace school choice and empower parents. Her message will inspire audiences, and in fact, her story is shared through a feature film titled "Miss Virginia.” "Miss Virginia" is a major motion picture starring Uzo Aduba, Matthew Modine, Niles Fitch, Vanessa Williams, and a spectacular ensemble cast. Watch Miss Virginia on Netflix, iTunes or Amazon today.
The Reason magazine writes: “The new movie Miss Virginia is based on the unlikely story of Virginia Walden Ford, who, as a single mother in Washington, D.C., in the early 2000s, fought to create a federally-funded private school voucher program that would allow poor kids—including her son—to escape failing public schools. Against long odds and institutional hostility, she succeeded and is played with fiery passion by Orange Is the New Black's Uzo Aduba. Matthew Modine, known for roles in Full Metal Jacket, Weeds, and Stranger Things, co-stars as a sympathetic congressman who helps win congressional authorization for the program.”

Dr. Monica Gandhi joins America's Roundtable co-hosts Natasha Srdoc and Joel Anand Samy and provides further insights on her recent piece, co-authohred with Jeanne Noble and published in Time Magazine — "We Can't Just Impose Restrictions Whenever COVID-19 Surges. Here's a Better Plan for 2022." Dr. Gandhi MD, MPH is Professor of Medicine; Associate Division Chief of the Division of HIV, Infectious Diseases, and Global Medicine; Director of the Ward 86 HIV Clinic at San Francisco General Hospital; and Director of the Center for AIDS Research at UCSF.
She brings to the forefront the concerns about our children in her op-ed piece via The Wall Street Journal titled, "The Pandemic’s Toll on Teen Mental Health" in which she states: "The pandemic may have taken a heavier mental toll on young people than it has on adults. As the vaccinated proportion of the population increases and the pandemic ebbs across the U.S., a different crisis demands immediate attention. The nation’s health and education leaders must focus now on helping young people get past what has been a long, dark year."
Dr. Gandhi also highlights key lessons learned from the pandemic as America and the world transition to the endemic phase.

Join America's Roundtable co-hosts Natasha Srdoc and Joel Anand Samy for a conversation with Governor Phil Bryant, the State of Mississippi (2012-2020), executive advisory board member, International Leaders Summit and partner at Bryant Songy Snell Global Partners. We focus on the U.S. Constitution, protecting first amendment right to free speech and religious freedom and humanitarian and national security crisis on America's Southern border.
The Department of Homeland Security in a new report stated: The Department of Homeland Security in a new report stated: "There will be 117,000 unaccompanied child migrants crossing the border this year. A large number of them are teenagers. Just last month, some 6,000 migrants aged 16 and 17 were caught." In addition to the concerns about human trafficking, with cartels now charging $5,000 to $10,000 per person to bring illegal immigrants to the US, drug smuggling, and specifically the fentanyl supply coming through the Southern border has increased significantly. Governor Bryant also draws from his early experiences as a law enforcement officer and an undercover officer in America's drug war and communicates about fentanyl which is 50 times more potent than heroin.
Governor Phil Bryant also shares his own experiences from the US-Mexico border during 2019, joining Mississippi's National Guard with Major General Janson D. Boyles, the adjutant general of Mississippi and the United States Customs and Border Protection on a dangerous night mission as illegal immigrants led by "coyotes" from an organized crime network were apprehended. The Customs and Border Protection recently reported: "Laredo Sector Border Patrol has encountered a dangerous trend of weapons being encountered during human smuggling events. Within 24 hours, three weapons were seized in three separate events involving human smuggling."
Governor Phil Bryant served as Mississippi’s 64th governor from 2012 to 2020. Before becoming the state’s chief
executive, the Honorable Phil Bryant was lieutenant governor, state auditor, and represented his legislative district in the Mississippi House of Representatives for five years.
As governor, the Hon.
