The Wall Street Journal in a report on July 3, 2024 stated, "The Fed raised rates at the fastest pace in 40 years in 2022 and 2023 to combat inflation that also rose to a four-decade high. They have held their benchmark rate in a range between 5.25% and 5.5% since last July."

Bio | Ambassador Peter Hoekstra

Ambassador Hoekstra represented the United States as Ambassador to the Kingdom of the Netherlands. During his tenure, The Hague hosted the Department of State Global Entrepreneurial Summit in June of 2019, which was attended by over 2000 entrepreneurs, investors, and other business leaders. The Dutch Parliament created the American Friendship Group at his urging.

Gretchen Whitmer and Quentin Messer Jr., the CEO of the Michigan Economic Development Corp. to bring two lithium ion battery manufacturers to Michigan which are headquartered in the People’s Republic of China (PRC) and alleged to have ties with Chinese Communist Party (CCP).

Published report: "For the projects in Michigan, there are all sorts of red flags flying around the roughly $4 billion in economic incentives, tax benefits, and infrastructure improvements the state of Michigan is handing out as incentives to CATL/Ford and Gotion to locate the two projects in Michigan. Ford is "licensing" CCP technology for its plant with CATL while Gotion is a subsidiary of a Chinese-based company subject to Chinese surveillance laws. Both already have seen support from Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer and the state legislature, which last week began the process of approving nearly $200 million for the Gotion project in Michigan."

John was born on the Greek Island of Nisyros in 1948 and 6 months later his parents emigrated to New York City in search of a better life. They settled on 135th Street in Harlem and his father found work as a busboy and his mother was a stay-at-home mom.

John is a true son of New York; he was educated in both the parochial and public school systems earning his high school diploma from Brooklyn Tech. John enrolled in New York University to study electrical engineering; going to school during the day and working in a small grocery store on nights and weekends to help his parents pay the bills. During his senior year, with just 8 credits remaining, John dropped out of NYU to work in the grocery business full-time. By his 25th birthday he was already a success with 10 Red Apple Supermarkets scattered along Broadway on Manhattan’s Upper Westside.

. . . and has lived the American Dream

Now, four decades later the Red Apple Group has evolved into a diversified corporation that has holdings in the energy, aviation, retail and real estate sectors and over 8,000 employees, with approximately 2,000 located in New York City. John and his wife Margo Catsimatidis live on Manhattan’s Upper East side and are parents to 2 grown children; Andrea and John Jr.

John is a firm believer in giving back to the community and has been a strong supporter of the Police Athletic League for nearly 30 years.

Mayor Groisman joins America's Roundtable Radio co-hosts Natasha Srdoc and Joel Anand Samy for a conversation about principled pro-growth policies advanced by Florida's elected officials, business leaders and engaged stakeholders, and the state's unique approach in addressing the Covid pandemic which have become a model for America. The discussion with Mayor Gabriel Groisman also focuses on the growing concerns of the Biden administration's insistence on closing a deal with Iran, a state sponsor of terrorism, thus handing over to the Iranian regime access to $90 billion dollars in foreign currency reserves and sanctions relief.

The program also brings to the forefront urgency to expand the Abraham Accords, a principled policy initiative which is bringing together countries in the Middle East to promote trade and investments, and advancing pro-growth policies for the region. The discussion will also address the rise of anti-Semitism in America and around the world, as well as the BDS (Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions) movement targeting the sovereign state of Israel — which adversely impacts both Arabs and Jews.

Mayor Gabriel Groisman's Brief Bio

Mayor Gabriel Groisman has been serving his community since November 2014, first being elected as a Councilman, and then in November 2016 was elected as the Mayor of Bal Harbour, Florida. He wrote and passed the nation’s first municipal anti-BDS ordinance in December 2015 and was the first in the nation to codify a uniform definition of anti-Semitism in December 2017. Groisman’s subsequent dealings with a local church who had previously boycotted and divested from Israel is the first documented success story of anti-BDS legislation. He is a sought after public speaker, regularly speaking to groups about fighting anti-semitism and the BDS movement, and related topics. Mayor Groisman has presented on two occasions at the United Nations in New York as a legal scholar on combating unjust and illegal commercial and academic boycotts of Israel, and has also presented at conferences held at the Italian Parliament in Rome, the Israeli Knesset and across the country. Still, Mayor Groisman prides himself in speaking to high school and college-aged students, who are the most directly impacted by the rise of anti-Semitism, always delivering a much needed sense of pride and strength.

In his private life, Groisman is also a practicing attorney and government affairs consultant. He is a partner at the prestigious firm of LSN Partners where he focuses on government relations in correlation with the firm's state and national practice. At LSN Gabriel established an International Tech practice, working primarily with Israeli tech companies in various sectors, helping them navigate the world of government procurement and regulatory affairs in the United States. He also often advises on cases around the world related to protecting the Jewish community from discriminatory conduct by governments and private individuals alike. In 2017, Groisman was named as a member of Advisory Council for Israel and Middle East Issues by then-Congressman Ron DeSantis, Chairman of National Security Subcommittee. In 2018, Mayor Groisman was awarded the Pursuit of Justice Award by the prestigious American Association of Jewish Lawyers and Jurists.

Foster works to promote the Founding Father principles of free enterprise, limited constitutional government, fiscal responsibility, and traditional American values. He believes we can find effective, innovative private sector solutions to many of the problems we face.

Among their many philanthropic commitments, Foster and Lynn, through the Friess Family Foundation, support mobile medical vans in needy U.S. neighborhoods, provide clean drinking water in Malawi, Africa, and assist in natural disaster relief efforts around the world. Foster received the Muhamad Ali Humanitarian Award and Childhelp’s Spirit of the Children Award, among other honors.

Foster Friess was born in Rice Lake, Wisconsin in 1940 and a first-generation college graduate. His mother dropped out of school in the eighth grade to pick cotton in order to save the family farm in Texas. His father dealt cattle and horses.

His investment strategy, based on the premise that —individual-company fundamentals drive stock prices, generated strong results for the portfolios he managed on behalf of institutions and high-net-worth individuals. Business Week heralded him as the “longest surviving successful growth stock picker” and CNBC’s Ron Insana dubbed him one of the “century’s great investors.
