Join America's Roundtable radio co-hosts Natasha Srdoc and Joel Anand Samy with Hannah Puder, a brilliant and courageous filmmaker, producer and director of the newly released documentary "Operation Arnon: A Story of Hope and Sacrifice." The entire film was shot in Israel with footage from Gaza.
"Operation Arnon" tells the story of a high-stakes IDF rescue mission to free four hostages from Hamas in the Nuseirat refugee camp in the heart of Gaza. The mission unfolded in broad daylight, under heavy fire, in a densely populated area where Israeli forces previously had not been.
Written and directed by Hannah Puder, the film traces the planning, execution, and aftermath of one of the most complex hostage rescues in recent history.
Through firsthand accounts from Israeli commanders, intelligence officials, and the family of Chief Inspector Arnon Zmora—who was killed during the operation—it captures the precision, coordination, and risk involved in rescuing four hostages from Hamas on June 8, 2024.
The conversation also focuses on how mainstream media reports on the events taking place in the Middle East and specifically as Israel defends its borders and safeguards its citizens including Arabs, Christians and Jews.
